No Glowstone recipe?

I have gathered the parts to make Glowstone, and the game acts like the Recipe doesn't exist at all. Inventory crafting and Crafting tables will not craft the block at all, and the Recipe book doesn't show the Recipe for Glowstone. Was the Recipe removed for this version?
