Pressing and holding space bar with touch controls does not jump more than once

Cannot press and hold space bar to continually jump whilst touch controls are being used (for example, to control camera, mine, or attack). 

The other bug reports I have seen in relation to the same issue say that this also applies to other platforms like Android. Those issues were closed as WONTFIX/WAI. Such issues are MCPE-24240 and MCPE-20741. So I'm rather confused as to whether this is a duplicate or not
