Tropical fish turn into white variants mataining pattern but not color.

I've been picking up fish for my aquarium in my survival realm and noticed that they when placed from the bucket they change into white variants while mataining the pattern. This hasn't happened in my creative world.

I've also closed and reopened the realm.
