Skins and maps were not loading after I deleted and reinstalled Minecraft.

A few days ago, I reinstalled Minecraft because it took a while to connect to games. After that, I logged in to Minecraft and all my skins were gone. I reinstalled again, and the same problem presented itself. I searched the web and I still got nothing. My downloaded and purchased maps were also gone.
