MCPE 1.17.30 doesn't run on Kindle Fire HD 10, 7th Gen, latest August FireOS

I get the red Mojang splash, there's a black screen for about 5 secs, then it bombs to the menu.

Worked yesterday on previous version of MCPE.

Have done all the usual flush cache/data/reinstall twice.
