Pressing square on my ps controller doesn't clear my hotbar in creative.

When i am in creative during the new v1.17.30 i am no longer able to clear my inventory by presaing the square button on my ps controller. Its not the /clear command its the clearing hotbar feature when ur in the menu for blocks. This is a very annoying bug since i have to individualy pick a item and drag it to get rid of it.
