1.17.30.04 Game not loading on Kindle Fire

With the new update (1.17.30.04) I'm unable to open the game on my Kindle Fire. The red Mojang Studios screen starts then goes blank then returns me to my Fire home screen.

I've tried restarting the device with no effect.

Kindle Fire HD 10 (7th generation) running Fire OS 5.6.9.0
