When I update versions some worlds get corrupted

When I update the game to a newer beta (I mostly play on betas) some worlds get corrupted. I have lost 2 superflats because of that and a bit of my survival world (I can still play on it because some parts of a given chunk disappear, not the whole chunk), but on the superflats nothing survived.
