MCPE controller spinning.

i want to play mcpe with a controller on my samsung. the controller i use is the horipad pro for xbox series x. when i go into the game and press LT or RT you just keep looking around in a 360 forever.  now i cannot use those buttons to place and destroy blocks because you keep spinning forever. i have seen multiple people having this issue and it is still not fixed. please help.
