Strange font behavior (width, size...)

When you using languages, that uses "unifont", you can notice some weirdness:
1. When text line contains ONLY English characters it displayed using default (normal) font;
2. When text line contains Russian and English characters it displayed using Unifont, but English characters (and special symbols) has a very wide width;
3. And of course unifont is really ugly (this part is duplicate of 2488, but I think it could be fixed separately)
