Loaded into MC in the nether, went back to my world and the sun/time is glitching

I saved in the nether last time, so this time logged in starting in the nether. Went back to the regular world and my sky is a weird blue grey, and my sun is moving for a few seconds then just backwards. Time IS progressing, but 2 steps forward 1 back. Sleeping does nothing to correct it, and takes longer than normal.
