Snow Blocks got broken during snowfall

This is what happened to me when I was trying to build Igloos in the snow:
1)Place down snow blocks in a snow biome
2)Wait for Snowfall
3)Snowfall comes
4)Snow starts piling on snow blocks
5)In a blink of moments,every snow blocks disappears(including those not covered by snow)
