The high bun hair style won't allow my custom skin to show to other players, making me have the default appearance

When I load my character skin with the High Bun hair style, it reverts me to either Steve or Alex. It only shows the issue to other players, and it only has this issue with this hair style. In our world, we are running caves and cliffs feature, but I had this issue before as well.
