Side Buttons dont work Just on minecraft

So I reset my slot 3 on my mc and for slot 3 i had my side button on my mouse and now it wont let me use it, for the record i have reset my mouse setting on my computer and i have tried to see if it works on other games and it does i have tried it on Fortnite Call of duty and splitgate and on all 3 games my side buttons worked but on minecraft it wont let me click my side buttons in settings, i was able to use them in game but in the settings it wont let me bind slot 3 or any other thing to my mouse side buttons. I also tried it on different accounts and a different xbox and the same thing has happened.
