Cannot find friend

I'm an android user, trying to find my friend on iOS for pocket edition. When I type her name in to the add friend box, another user comes up, with a very identical name, except the first letter is capital, when she has all lowercase letters, and a different profile pic. Her username is "leisha123", and the only person that comes up is "Leisha123". She is able to find me no problem, but cannot invite or join a game, even though she added me. There's no list that pops up with people of similar names, either, its only the one user, and we can't seem to find eachother on the same servers/public games, even when we're playing right next to eachother.
