Few seed drops

I, somewhat recently, switched from PS3 edition to bedrock on mobile due to Mojang no longer supporting PS3 and high interest in recent updates so this may simply be a feature I feel can be improved upon, but it may be a bug caused by the 1.17.10 experiments so I am reporting it. I have found that crops such as wheat and beetroot drop very few seeds, (mostly 1 and occasionally 2). This causes farm growth to be very difficult as over the course of tens of harvests, expanding as much as possible, I have gone from 16 wheat crops to 27, and 1 beetroot plant to 2. If seed drops could be increased a bit that would be great.
