Minecraft Bedrock and Oculus Rift S does not work

Minecraft windows 10 works absolutely fine on PC, however, the oculus launcher within the oculus store does not launch minecraft.

there is a way around it by editing a registry key 

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1\ActiveRuntime

as denoted on the internet, however, this then stops anything else running. in addition,  it causes the opened version of minecraft to repeatedly flash.

in short,  Minecraft VR windows 10 with oculus rift s does not work
