Purchased Minecraft skins won't load so I can't equip

I recently purchased a skin pack and when I select any of the characters it didn't load but you have to press equip to be able to use a skin. I have already tried to reset/restart my Switch but it doesn't help I've also kept it on that screen for a while to see if it would load but it never did
