1.18 Beta Cave Generation

I've loaded several worlds with the Caves and Cliffs experimental features enabled, and all of them didn't generate any caves. I would run around for a while before giving up and loading another world. But I would just load another world without caves. I noticed that a lot of rivers are deep and look almost like caves, but that could be a different feature of the upcoming update. The last seed I loaded was -220090723.
