Chickens won't eat or move, and when I punch them, they float into the sky

Hi, I noticed a very weird bug on my Minecraft world. When I have the mods on, chickens won't move or eat, and whenever I punch them, they float into the sky. I want to keep my mods and seed. The chickens also won't die. Is there a way to fix this?
