Missing blocks from Builds

When rejoining a world I created sometimes block are just missing from my builds. It happens in both my single-player and multiplayer worlds, and the blocks that are missing are completely random. The Image attached was what was missing when I logged on today, about a week ago though the entire back wall of one of my builds was gone.
