Book item type displays CraftingScreen.tab.none

After I wrote a book, on the section where it usually says what type of block it is (for example, in underneath a block of wooden planks it says "Construction" as it is a building block), on a book I wrote it appears as CraftingScreen.tab.none.  Weirdly enough, this was all fixed (though only for a minute) after putting a barrier in my inventory. And after writing a book, it doesn't let me sign another book half of the time.

If it means anything, I activated the "Caves and Cliffs" tab in my world. It is also an Old sized world. I've never experienced this with any other old-sized worlds, though.
