Can’t load old-sized worlds

Ever since Caves and Cliffs dropped, any “old”-sized world I’ve tried to enter has been stuck loading endlessly and never finishing no matter how long I wait. The first time I encountered the issue was with a world I had been playing on for a while, but I assumed it was just corrupted or something and deleted it. I tried making a new one to replace it, but that wouldn’t load, either.
