Boats are laggy when controlled by someone else (Update: Includes any Ridable)

Whenever someone else in any world controls a boat and you ride with them, the boat will be laggy

 

To reproduce:

1. Place a boat
2. Have someone else control it
3. Get in the boat with them

What happens is the boat will appear laggy while moving.

 

Edit: This bug actually applies to anything controlled by other players, including minecarts, horses, etc.
