Uncontrollable flying in creative mode

Ive had many issues since a notification popped up on my screen saying a hotfix has been updated on my Minecraft account. One issue i havent already seen posted is uncontrollable flying. I was in creative mode on my world and all of a sudden was flying around without control. I couldnt move up, down, or open chat. I couldnt even press esc to close the Minecraft window and had to force my computer to shut down. After this i found my world wasn't even existent anymore in my list of worlds.
