Blocks not dropping after breaking

Hi, in my world none of the blocks would drop. I have searched up a lot about this problem, and none of the solutions helped me. I play Minecraft v1.17.11. Please help me out. I am a new player to Minecraft so please keep a detailed step to step explanation.
