Unable to switch user accounts

I have two Microsoft accounts that are used to play MCPE on this phone. I went to switch accounts yesterday and discovered that while I can sign out of the account when I attempt to sign back in it automatically signs in the previous account and any attempts to sign in a different account simply loop back to the sign in screen welcoming the previously signed in account. I have cleared all data and used all available means to change accounts. I am able to sign out from the settings screen resulting in the default game screen and a Steve profile but any attempt to sign in an account results in the one account defaulting in. If it were my main account logged in I would simply chalk this up to a glitch and not having access to a second account but as it is my back up account it is a bit more of a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
