Mobs cannot pathfinder over amethyst clusters placed in the air

Mobs cannot pathfinder over amethyst clusters even if they are aggressive or are trying to get to a certain place.you can recreate this by placing amethyst blocks floating in mid air, and spawning a mob and going in survival hen trying to make them walk over the amethyst
