Game crashes every minute or so

I try playing Minecraft PE and every time I play, the game crashes within a minute. I'll open it again and start playing, it crashes again. I can literally get nothing done because when the game crashes, it doesn't recognize anything I've built within that time frame. It also lags terribly.
