animal sounds cannot be heard

In my survival world I was hungry and wanted to eat meat and then the animals did not produce their sounds and when I killed them they were not heard either, I was in experimental mode of the caves and cliffs, this error happened in my android Minecraft on my Huawei p20 lite.
