Unable to Connect to Realms, even though have gold subcription and internet

Started since 13th July 2021

my friend has been unable to connect to any form of servers (Friends & multiplayer such as the hive. he is able to play other games online just not minecraft

we have tried doing eveything recommended and nothing is working.

 

things we have tried:

• he has gold subcription
• we have checked his setting
• we have troubleshooted the NAT
• we tried to see if he was on the BETA and he is not
• we have uninstall and reinstalled the game
• checked aka.ms/MCmultiplayerhelp

 

any help or is this a bug for xbox one?
