Is it weird that I can still hear the old sounds of the water while jumping/swimming?

When the update said they changed the water splash sound, I decided to test it out, so when I landed in the water, no change.... Still the same old water sound effect, however the new water sound is too faint. So most of the time I hear the old water Sound rather than the new one... This needs to be fixed.
(sorry for my bad english I am micronesian, not American.)
