Conduits will change block state after reentering the world

After placing down a Conduit which is facing in any other direction but not the "standard one" (block state 0) and leaving a world will cause the Conduit to go back to the "standard" block state after reentering a world.
The case is clear: Minecraft doesn't save the block states of Conduits.
