I was exiting the end and hopped back in to the overworld portal and died

I was exiting the end and hopped back in to the overworld portal and died. I also lost all my stuff when I come back. The problem with this is at it has happen multiple times to me and I have moved my bed a its still happened to me. Also when it gives me the option to respawn and I click it, it does not let respawn. And it freezes minecraft. Also my friends play with me and they do not have this problem . I hope that minecraft can fix this problem and also give me the stuff I lost.
