Candles cannot be placed like torches on stairs and slabs like ordinary torches.

The candles cannot be placed like the torches on inverted stairs and the slabs as the complete blocks in those if they can be placed but the candles cannot be placed on stairs and slabs I do not know if it is a bug or it is normal for the candles.
