Laggy animations on items dropped and picked up

I am having an issue on bedrock where any items I pick up or drop have a significant amount of lag/ frame loss in the animation but everything else about the game runs 60+fps with minimal effort, I logged onto my minecraft java edition and did not have the issue there so I can assume its a bug on bedrock, I've gone through all my settings and cant find anything that would be causing it and I have decent hardware so I know that's not the issue, its also worth noting that I didn't have this issue until version 1.17.10 dropped.
