Multiplayer games don't work for me

Well, the problem has existed since some versions ago. I see that my Xbox app shows my friend playing Minecraft but when I go to Minecraft his game doesn't appear, and it's not my internet because it's fast. Hope they fix it for the next version of Minecraft .
