Limbs missing from other players

While playing on a realm, my friend's character was missing his arms and legs and was holding items in the wrong place. My friend was playing on PS4 and I was playing on Windows 10. This was only visible to me.
The bug fixed itself after a while - not sure what caused it to correct itself.
