auto save not working

1. got wood 
   2. started mining 
      3. got enough materials to make a house 
         4. got iron
           5. got diamond armour
    i left my world and got diamond armour etc
   what happened: I was found in my old house with no armour and not inside my house 
   what was expected : me loading in my house and with full diamond aromur , now I don't have any pictures for the diamond armour , but I have for the wooden tools I have, I know the picture is not enough to prove it but i am really not lying
