Invisible working fire visual glitch

When fire is placed on a block and you mine the block but not the fire the fire turns invisible and creates a ghost fire that still sets you alight until you place a block beneath it or in its place. It was both happening when me (Xbox) and my friend (Switch) were on a creative world together
