Sticky pistons do not pull back other pistons/sticky pistons

There has been a bug on my minecraft that sticky pistons do not pull back other pistons it acts like a normal piston I have tried it many times before reporting this bug but not even a SINGLE TIME THE STICKY PISTON PULLED OTHER PISTONS the bug has been there since the last update of the nether I have been ignoring it all the time but it's pretty hard to use other methods for the trick please fix the issue.
