end portal glitch

Dear Mojang,

When I was travelling through the End portal to the overworld in my survival world I all of a sudden I died instantly I tried to respawn but it would not work the screen was red with no menu and at the bottom of my screen it said generating world when I spawned back in my items from my inventory disappeared and in chat, it said to hit the ground too hard. Mojang could you please address the current problem.
