Ps5 controller mapping issue

Minecraft in unplayable as of right now, i am on the beta program and as soon as i load in to a world my character uncontrollably spins whilst looking down, and i can't be controlled via the left stick. This issue didn't occur with the ps4 controller so i see no reason as to why it wouldn't work with a ps5 controller. Please fix this issue because i litteraly can't move or do anything in game. All that is needed is just the controller mapping to be the same as the ps4 controller and its problem solved, I just don't see why this is still an issue.
