Slab glitch

When you break an upside down half slab it turns into a different kind of block that only places as a top slab

It Should upon breaking revert to a normal half slab

What actually happened was...:
Describe what happened here

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a half slab in the top position
2. Break the slab
3. It returns to your inventory as a bugged item
