Minecraft keeps crashing and became unplayable.

I play Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Nintendo Switch. Ever since the new 1.17 update, Minecraft has just been unplayable. It keeps crashing as soon as it loads in. I have tried restarting my console, deleting and re-installing Minecraft, archiving Minecraft, etc. It just won't work. Before, I had to wait about 4 mins for Minecraft to load, and when it loaded, it would freeze and crash. I had to go through this 2-3 times before it actually loaded, and then I couldn't even play on servers or realms, and sometimes it would freeze mid-game and I'd have to be careful to not move the controls or press buttons or otherwise it would crash. Now, it doesn't matter how many times I do this cycle, it just won't load. It became completely unplayable. I did some research and I found out that developers are working on this issue. I feel like at the very least, you should refund the sum of $60 dollars I paid for Minecraft.
