Golems spawning on half slabs and sea lanterns

I googled the issue and everywhere I looked told me it wasn't possible but I watched golems spawn on the sea lanterns so I added bottom half slabs on top and I'm watching golems spawn on those too. Will add a video if I can catch it happening.

Edit: yeah my b, searched half slabs and it didn't come up 😂 here's the video anyway
