Can't join my friends world.

I have a problem every time I try to join my friends it says "unable to connect to world" I tried to reset my pc and still does not work at all. Then I tried to uninstall my Minecraft and get it back to see it will let me join my friends but still does not work I tried everything but it still does not work.
