Boat Spawn/Duplication Glitch

Whenever I restart the game, I keep my inventory from when I quit, but spawn in a boat (whenever certain chunks were loaded at the time of exiting). This lets me duplicate boats, which will fill up my transportation chest, and it's very annoying.
