Everything is a steve

Every time I go into a server on minecraft, when I go into a game (Death Run) everyone and everything turns into a Steve, this is annoying as it'll follow me back into the servers lobby and WILL NOT go away unless I uninstall and redownload the game, even then it's not a permanent fix.
