App will not open for IOS

I just downloaded the bug fix update that was released for this month on July 4th 2021.

immediately upon download I found that the app will not open. It will only give me the red mojang screen for a few seconds before closing sending me back to the home screen. This is not the first time this has happened and last time I had to delete the app, loosing all of my progress in world that were deleted in the process of doing this. Due to that I wished for this to be fixed soon due to the current fix is sacrificing all the time and effort as a player on these worlds just to get the game back up and running. Please fix this cuz this seems to be a reoccurring issue for me with an old IPhone 6 with limited updates...
